About Founder
KIVIBOTO SHEQI
Kiviboto Sheqi, Founder of Pioneer Institute.I hail from the small town of Pughoboto, with an academic background in Economics. My teaching journey began in 2014 at Loyola Hr. Sec. School, followed by a role as Assistant Professor in the Dept. of Economics in 2015–16, and later mentoring UPSC/NPSC aspirants at various coaching centres. In 2017, I turned my own living room into a tuition centre for science students, often investing my personal earnings to ensure they received quality education. In 2018, I took a leap of faith and established Pioneer Institute with the vision of providing UPSC/NPSC coaching and computer skill–based training, supported by the best possible infrastructure for students in Nagaland.
From the very beginning, my goal has been to deliver quality education at affordable fees, a commitment born out of my own struggles as an aspirant who could not afford coaching. What started as a small personal mission has now grown into a trusted institute for students across Nagaland. I continue to stay true to this vision, ensuring that every aspirant who seeks guidance receives the best possible support. Looking ahead, I aspire to expand Pioneer beyond Nagaland, making it a name that stands for opportunity, career success, and uncompromising excellence.

I began teaching at Pioneer Institute with a passion for student growth, guiding learners through challenges and growing alongside them. The journey has been both transformative and deeply rewarding. What I enjoy most is watching students gain confidence as they turn challenges into skills and realize they are capable of more than they first believed. My classes are interactive, with a strong focus on learning by doing. I tie lessons to real-life situations such as budgeting in Excel, creating resumes in Word, and designing presentations. This approach ensures students not only understand concepts but also see their practical value. Over time, I’ve witnessed learners evolve into confident, capable individuals ready to apply their computer skills in everyday life and careers.

I have had a rewarding journey teaching at Pioneer Institute, working with students from diverse backgrounds and learning styles, which has helped me refine my teaching approach. The institute provides a supportive environment that encourages innovation in both teaching and learning. What I enjoy most is the curiosity and energy of the students—their eagerness to ask questions and explore new ideas keeps the classroom engaging. Watching them grow in confidence and skill over time is truly fulfilling. To ensure students not only learn but also apply computer skills, I focus on practical, hands-on learning alongside theory. I encourage them to work on personal projects, helping them gain real-world experience and confidence. This approach develops both their technical proficiency and problem-solving abilities, preparing them for real-life challenges.

I began my teaching journey at Pioneer Institute in 2018 with the Diploma in Computer Applications (DCA). What inspired me to join was the institute’s strong focus on quality education and student growth. Over the years, I have guided students in building subject knowledge, confidence, and exam strategies. I especially enjoy their eagerness to learn practical computer skills that directly connect to their careers, making every class interactive. My teaching approach is rooted in hands-on practice through live projects, assignments, and real-world tasks. Watching students grow from having little computer knowledge to becoming proficient in tools and applications has been very rewarding. My goal is to ensure every learner not only studies but also applies digital skills effectively in daily life and future careers.
